The “Kar2er” has been a network for top industry executives in German-speaking countries since 2002.
In January 2017, Michael Kurzeja (Kurzeja & Cie.), Dr. Louis Klein (SEgroup) and Dirk Laforet joined forces to expand the network’s offering. We gave the network the name ManufacturingExcellence4Executives – me4e for short.
Excellence requires dialog – excellence is created through interaction and exchange. This conviction and experience has brought us together in the pursuit of manufacturing excellence.
Dialogue needs a framework – We have joined forces to make this network possible. We manage the formats, we send out the invitations, we moderate the dialog. In short, we take care of everything.
The Kar2er mountain tours
On two weekends a year, we meet as part of our network in the Karwendel to set off together to the various mountain huts in our tried-and-tested Kar2 format. We conduct our dialog outside in nature and also enjoy the magnificent panoramas. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants for the valuable weekends in previous years.
Our benchmark visits
One-day benchmark visits take place twice a year. In the spirit of benchmarking and best practice sharing, the aim is to learn from each other how things are done. The focus is not on showcasing the champions, but on honest dialog and the opportunity to learn from the visitors as hosts.
Arrival, reunion and getting to know each other take place the evening before. In the morning, after the briefing, there is a detailed tour of the factory. It’s all about seeing and understanding.
